11 Tips for a Better You

For day 4 of the 7 Days to Rediscovering Your Blogging Groove we are writing a Tip Post.

I am writing tips on how to keep yourself sane during tough times.

1. Lower your expectations.

2. Believe in yourself

3. Have a reality check.

4. Accept that everything is not in your control.

5. Share your troubles with someone trustworthy.

6. Be practical.

7. Meditate.

8. Leave that ego out and take necessary steps to prevent troubles from taking over your life. If you are going through financial difficulties, cut back on expenses. If it is relationship trouble then face the situation, either patch up things or cut the knot. Don’t hang around just to suffocate yourself and others.

9. Pick up some hobby that interests you. Life is more than eat, work and sleep.

10. Exercise regularly. That will definitely relax you.

11. Take a walk. Listen to the nature. Enjoy the sunset. Just smile. You will get energy enough to deal with the problems.

These tips might not feel logical, when you are actually in trouble. But I’m sure following these you will gain strength to maneuver through tough times.

  1. Great tips to help smile during tough times. No. 9, 10 and 11 speak to me. I recently started baking and I am loving it, though all experiments are not great but I am glad that I am exploring it. And yes nothing refreshes and rejuvenated than a walk all by yourself or an exercise regime.

    1. Always nice to have a hobby, right. It’s the spirit to experiment that counts not always the outcome! I am glad that you are enjoying your baking experiments, Shilpa. 🙂 Nowadays, I walk to my son’s school to pick him up. It is almost 50 minutes walk. I enjoy the sceneries, click snaps on the way, it is refreshing. 🙂 Thank you for taking time to read, Shilpa.
