Here is mine..

She couldn’t take it anymore. She cried her eyes out. She still doesn’t know where it had gone wrong or what she did to deserve such disappointment in her life.

She was the good girl in her family. Always listened to her parents. Always put their wishes ahead of her. Always managed to find a connection between their dreams and hers. Even her boyfriend was well-loved by her parents. She was the fat kid, despite that he loved her so dearly, that eventually he proposed. And she accepted because she knew how much her parents loved him. What could be better when everything falls in place without even trying!

He encouraged her to exercise and lose weight. The more she lost weight, the more he encouraged her to get in shape. He suggested her to step into modelling, the Showbiz which she was never attracted to. But she didn’t want to disappoint her husband, so she took up one assignment. What did she knew that she will be welcomed with such affection and importance. Yes, everybody loved her. Her husband was the happiest with her achievements.

Soon one assignment turned into two, three, and it went on. She became a very busy model. She couldn’t see her happy husband anymore. Because he wasn’t happy anymore. His wife is so busy now. He knew he pushed her into that world. Every time she told him that she will leave modeling and go back to her accounting profession, he said no because here she is earning fame and money, a lot. She kept doing modeling only to make him happy. She didn’t want to make him feel bad by disobeying him.

But the distance between them increased and she found out that he is in love with someone else. You are never around, that was the answer she got. But I was the good girl, she thought, following what you wanted me to do. No one was there to listen to her cries. Everyone blamed her for the failure of their marriage.

But I listened to all. I fulfilled everyone else’s wishes but mine. Where did I go wrong? She couldn’t figure out.

Will she ever realize to listen to her wishes and follow what she wants to do?
