Since last few weeks, I find it difficult to keep up with the blogging world. I blog whenever possible. I try to visit other blogs as much as possible, I always do. But now, it is getting hectic, or so I feel. Visiting other blogs were not this tiresome before.
I am connecting with more and more blogs now and the time is, well, still 24 hours a day. Today I realized that it’s been some time since I visited few of the blogs I usually read. That realization made me feel bad. I know that it is not possible to stop by at everyone’s blog and comment on all posts. But then how do we do it?
As a first step, today I logged out of FaceBook on my phone. It is a relief, not to be bothered by the constant notifications. My aim is to reduce FaceBook time to one hour in the evening every day. Now I am working on a system to cover all the blogs I love at least once per week. I want to continue blogging without tiring myself. And to do that I need a system which actually works for me. Now that I found out the problems I am facing, I hope to come up with matching solutions.
Anyways, today I am sharing with you all a different kind of writing by Waywordness. She writes something called ‘Six Words‘ which contains only, well, six words. I am sharing the whole category of Six words here. It is fun to read.
Here is an inspiring piece ‘Write Her Soul Urged‘ written by Corinne. It isn’t really an old post, but I couldn’t resist sharing this one. See for yourself what I mean.
Next, enjoy a cute story ‘Entwined Fates‘ by Arpita.
There you go! That’s it for today’s Oldies from the past. Do read them all and shower your love there. And share with me in comments on how you manage to read and reciprocate in this vast ocean called Blogosphere. Do you have a system? Do you have a specific time set for writing on your blog and reading other blogs?

Thank you Vinitha for sharing my post and mentioning my name here. You are doing a great job by bringing oldies… 🙂
Keep it up.
Actually, we have very limited time for the blog.. And in that limited time, either we can write a new post or read the posts of fellow bloggers.
But i always feel the second thing is more important than the first. Reading other people makes me feel better rather than adding my drop to the sea. Vinitha , Nice name BTW. Must seem romantic when your husband calls VINITHAA, Doesnt it?
Vinitha – loved all the posts from the past!
Yes, you are right! It is always hard to find time to read other blogs but I try and multitask. Like if I am having breakfast at desk, I will open a blog and read it. Then in between something, a couple before I go to bed and this kind of helps me.
Yes, if I am not writing on a particular day, I get to read many more! 🙂
I know systems are a great idea for most things; however, I confess that I do not have one when it comes to blogging. I generally blog at night after work (though often I have commitments in the evenings), then read and comment on other blogs. It’s crazy in a way as it usually makes it a LONG day! 😉 <3 (p.s. I'm afraid that a system may not work with my schedule, though I could be wrong!)
When social networks invade on your time, it’s time to call a halt. Reading other blogs can be tiresome sometimes, especially when the subject doesn’t interest you. What I do is commit to reading and commenting on two blogs above mine in different groups. Then, I feel as if I’ve done my duty.
I myself find it really difficult to visit all the blogs regularly. But I am loving your series of sharing interesting posts from various bloggers :).
