Hello and welcome to the eighteenth edition of Fiction Monday.
“Tears are words that need to be written.”
–Paulo Coelho
November is the month of writing as NaNowriMo (National Novel Writing Month) commences this month. I wish all the best to the participants of this month-long novel writing challenge. I have tried in 2015 but my half-written novel is sitting in some folder in my computer long forgotten. I will stick with writing flash fiction for now.
Meanwhile you are welcome to participate in #FictionMonday to flex your writing muscles.

Fiction Monday
The idea is simple – to write fiction. On Mondays, I will post the prompt here. There will be a word prompt and a picture prompt. You have one week to respond with a story. You can choose to include both the prompts in your story or just one prompt – the choice is yours.
The expected word count is between 50 and 250.
You have time till November 7th Saturday, 2020.
Don’t forget to add the link to your story in the comments below. I will share your creations here along with the prompts for the eighteenth edition on Monday the 9th of November.

All the best and a fine Sunday!
I missed posting these last two weeks. I had written a draft for the last prompt but life got in the way. Hopefully I will write for the next prompt.
You are welcome to join anytime, Sunita. It’s my pleasure to read your wonderful stories. Hoping to see your entry for this week. 🙂
I tried to take part in the NaNoWriMo once and figured out it’s not for me! More power to those who do it every year!
