I feel like I have been ignoring this space. It was never in my intention, but as I look through the posts the last one was posted on Monday and then nothing. I kept coming back here to write something but something was happening that I couldn’t write anything at all. I even forgot to post this week’s Sneak from the past post too. Yes, forgot is the right word. Only on Friday I realized that Wednesday was two days ago. While all through the week I was eagerly waiting for Friday, I couldn’t be more disappointed that it was already Friday. I know, I am not making sense to you.
This week I was tired. They say sleep deprivation will last only till the baby days. But truth is, ‘once a parent always a parent’. I am not saying that I hadn’t had any uninterrupted sleeps in the last 5 years at all. There were days I enjoyed my 8 hours sleep. But last week wasn’t any such week. Kanna kept waking me up. Sometimes because his legs were aching, sometimes he just wanted to make sure that I was there, sometimes he resorted into practising soccer in his dreams, making me the soccer ball.
Uninterrupted sleep is essential for a rested mind and body. And without that, I was tired with half closed eyes and and unsteady mind throughout the day.
Good thing is the weekend came. And with that I had my rest. Well, not as much as I would like, because my dear kid likes to wake up early especially during Saturdays and Sundays. He was like that from the time he was born. That’s one trait he totally lacked to get from his parents! 🙁 We enjoy, well enjoyed, late sleeping during weekends. Anyway, I feel bad not have written here as much as I used to write. I will try my level best not to repeat that again. So, you will see more of me here in the coming days. 🙂
Do you feel bad when you fail to write as often as you used to? How do you manage to fit writing into your busy life? Care to share in the comments?

I hope the weekend helped you relax and have some me time….? i often like you choose not to write when nothing comes to mind…i then switch onto either baking or cooking or photography and sometimes kathak ☺️
Hahah, you should teach that Kanna the good late sleeping manners soon! Don’t worry about writing, we know your health and the kid come first 🙂
One day you will have that uninterrupted time. Until then, writing is going to be a challenge. Don’t feel guilty about not posting -family always comes first.
I schedule my posts, the regular ones. I have a google calendar set up for my blog posts and also started using a hardcover diary to keep track of my writing tasks. But i don’t freak out if i miss writing for a few days. When it’s meant to happen, it will ?
A mother’s job is never done! I too keep a table calender as well as Google calender and a diary to keep track of all i do. Have a good week ahead.
A few more years and then you will have the complete sleep.. and don’t feel guilty of not writing.. healthy minds = healthy posts, crappy mind = crappy posts (atleast thats how it is for me). Take some rest.
