I am very late in writing this post. WAYWORDNESS nominated me for this award almost three months back. As it goes, ‘Better late than Never’, right? I am so sorry that it took these many days to accept this lovely award from you, Waywordness. I can’t begin to say how happy I am that you thought about me for the Inspiring Blogger Award. Coming to the last part of the award – Â Three things that inspired me last week.
1. Obviously, the first in line is my son – he is a never ending source of inspiration on any day, any hour, any minute. 🙂
2. The bus that we wait for in the morning and evening. It is a dream come true when the bus arrives on time, with its infamous unpunctual nature and the occasional bunking activities. Whenever the bus is late or skips our route and make us wait for another 20 minutes in the cold weather, it inspires me to become reliable and dependable for those whose depends on me. Whenever the bus is on time, it makes me happy for that is one less thing to worry about at that hour, and thus inspiring me to be grateful for the little things life offers.
3. My phone, broken phone, which works to my satisfaction even with a crack so big in its face. It is an inspiration, seeing my phone useful and still working, though it breaks my heart every time I look at the scarred face.
Now it’s your turn to accept the nomination. I hope you all enjoy the award. Congratulations to all of the nominees. 🙂
congrats for the award. it feels great that you found my blog inspiring and nominated me for the award, thanks
Thank you and very welcome. You are inspiring writer, no doubt on that. 🙂
Congratulations on your award! 🙂 Your positive take on the negative is definitely inspiring.
Thank you, Debbie. I’m glad you liked it. 🙂
Congratulations on the award! Good for you naming all those blogs. I’m not even sure I can think of 15 blogs, let alone name them all. You’re good. I liked the all the things that inspired you last week, especially your view about the bus, grateful when it was on time and seeing it as a lesson to make you more resilient when it wasn’t. A good way to make something positive out of a bad experience which isn’t always easy to do.
I wasn’t sure either about naming all 15 blogs. But it turns out I have more than 15 blogs to nominate. Had to cut back few blogs because it exceeds 15. 🙂 After linking up with gratitude circle I am able to see the positive bubble hiding in the negative part. So glad I am able to do this. Otherwise, before I used to get upset and breakdown so bad at the slight hint of something going wrong. Lots of deep breath making it easier to get through the day! 🙂 Thank you Cathy for stopping by and for your kind words. I have visited you few times. Don’t remember if I actually left any comment. Will visit you more often. 🙂
Congratulations on your award. I like how you focus on the good things instead of the bad. Oh and the bus being on time is truly a blessing.
congratulations 🙂
