“I am infinite.”
Something that I never thought of before – I am INFINITE.
“It’s a funny thing about life, once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack.”
-Germany Kent
When Filza Chaudary, an amazing poet and writer I had the fortune to acquaint with on Medium, left this beautiful comment on my prose poem ‘Lies’, it opened new avenues of musings for me.
I am infinite. Isn’t that the truth? As we move with the Universe accepting the blessings and conspiracies that it put forth, it is only logical to see ourselves beyond all the lacks and limits and acknowledge the infinite being that we are.
I don’t always have to be enough, I can be infinite. Or enough, too. I have the choice.
There is a reason I write. It is not just to satiate my desire to fill the paper with my thoughts and words. Writing continues beyond the affair with pen and paper. It connects people from different corners of the world and sometimes helps in garnering one’s focus on that tiny fragment of musing that slipped past you.
It’s comments like these that made me stick with blogging seven years ago. It’s comments like these that make me float around the writing world today as well.
All I hope is to bring clarity to someone else’s mind through my words once in a while.
Today I can say with utmost gratitude that writing no matter how solitary the action is, it brings genuine interactions my way. Even while I keep dropping the pen in the name of self doubt and other concerns.
All I can say is thank you to the universe for prompting me to write and share years ago as well as today.
Today I am grateful for realizing that I can be infinite when I find myself not enough.
Joining Esha and Shilpa for #SoulfulSunday with this gratitude post.
We are infinite..such a simple yet profound sentence..thank you for sharing this with us. I love reading gratitude posts. It always brings positivity in my life. I agree that blogging did bring some genuine interactions. I have met bloggers who have made my life better. I learned so many things from my fellow bloggers that I feel tremendously grateful.
